On 18th August, 2022, a team from Uganda National NGO Forum (UNGOF) visited UNACOH Secretariat to carry out legal compliance assessment. This was aimed at assessing the level at which UNACOH, a member organization was, in terms of complying with the relevant laws in the sector and to advise where necessary for improvement as a way of capacity building. UNACOH received resource materials including a book on philanthropy for Development, a simplified guide on NGO Regulatory Framework in Uganda, and one on Legal Empowerment for Civil Society Organizations in Uganda. The team was to share with UNACOH the assessment report a few days after the exercise.
