In pursuit of the UNACOH Constitutional requirement of holding a General Assembly every after two years, the 16th Biennial General Meeting was held on 15th February 2020 at Furaha Restaurant, Kampala.
The meeting was attended by 64 Members from a close the country. it was chaired by the Vice President, Ms. Monica Odella Filder on behalf of the out-going President, Dr. Patrick Kadama.
The one-day meeting started with the capacity building sessions, reflecting on Organizational Development. This began with a review of the UNACOH Resource Mobilization Strategy 2018-2022 and progress made. This was preceded with a presentation and group work on Resource mobilization, which specifically focused on Donor Mapping. This was facilitated by a consultant with the full participation of participants. The other presentation was on Human Resource, the consultant took members through the organization culture and core value, which should be cherished by all members, as she emphasized. It was very interactive.
The afternoon session was for elections, which were successfully facilitated by the Past UNACOH President, Prof. Konde Lule as the retiring Officer. The results were as follows: (results) can as well be referenced from our National Executive Committee members (NEC)
